The A330 flat bed you may picture flies the Papeete and Sydney routes, not the Cook Islands. It is also a once-a-week flight, which is why the dates are so scattered. For a roughly six and a half hour hop to one of the most untouched corners of the South Pacific, a recliner up front is still a comfortable way in. Book this one for Rarotonga, not for the seat.

Deal 1 is the bucket-list one, the Cook Islands do not get direct service from many places, so 47,500 points to Rarotonga is special, just remember it is a recliner up front, not a flat bed. Deal 2 is the Asia planner's move, especially if Japan is calling. And Deal 3 is the neighbor-island family play, up to 20 percent off at Waikoloa on the Big Island.
