Aloha ʻohana, the May Huakaʻi by Hawaiian deal just dropped and it's a solid one for kamaʻāina with island-hopping plans this summer. 25% off Neighbor Island flights, and the discount stretches to up to six companions on the same booking. Booking window is tight though, only three days, so don't sleep on it.

How to Book

1. Sign in to your Atmos Rewards account on alaskaair.com or hawaiianairlines.com
2. Click "Discounts/Companion Fare" in your profile drop-down menu
3. Click "Use to book" next to your discount code, or copy the code and apply it at checkout

Good to Know

The discount stacks on Saver fares too, but Saver comes with strings attached: no complimentary seat selection, you only earn 30% of actual points flown, and free same-day changes aren't available. Status holders booking Saver can still get complimentary upgrades to Premium Class or First, but only within two hours of departure if space is open. For a quick interisland hop, Saver is usually fine. If you're checking a board, picking the right seat, or pushing for Atmos status this year, pay up for Main Cabin.

Maximize This with the Right Card

If you're already using a Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard or another card that earns well for Hawaiian Airlines spend, you'll layer Atmos points on top of the 25% discount. 25% off with up to six companions is honestly one of the more useful Huakaʻi drops I've seen this year. Most months it's a single-traveler discount, so the companion stack is what makes this one worth pouncing on. If you've got a Labor Day weekend trip on the calendar, a family birthday on a Neighbor Island, or you've been putting off that Hilo, Līhuʻe, or Kahului visit, this is your window. Three days isn't much. I'd lock it in tonight or tomorrow rather than waiting on Thursday.
