Disneyland 2026 is OPEN: Here’s 3 Things you NEED to know!

2026 Disneyland Vacation Packages are now available. It may feel far away, but in Disney time—it’s never too early to start planning. Here are the top 3 things you need to know:

Disneyland 2026 will continue to celebrate its 70th anniversary through summer 2026

1. Resort Hotel Perks Changing January 5, 2026

  • Early Entry Ends – The Early Theme Park Entry perk will be suspended.

  • New Perk – Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests will receive 1 Lightning Lane Multipass attraction of their choice per day (excludes Single Pass attractions like Radiator Springs Racers and Rise of the Resistance).

  • Pixar Place DCA Entrance Update – Pixar Place Hotel Guests will begin using the Grand Californian Hotel DCA entrance. The current private entrance to Pixar Pier will close.

Pixar Place is the newest Disneyland Resort Property.

On-Property Benefits (effective Jan. 5, 2026):

  • 1 FREE Lightning Lane Multipass attraction of your choice per person

  • Charge and Deliver purchases to your room

  • Convenient park access via the Monorail and exclusive hotel entrances

  • Direct-to-room service through the Disneyland app

2. Good Neighbor Hotels May Be the Way to Go

The Home2 Suites by Hilton offers free breakfast, a 5 minute walk to Disney, and are offering a free night for select stays.

With these changes, many families are leaning toward Good Neighbor Hotels—and for good reason!

For 2026 packages, I’ve already noticed special deals like 4th or 5th night FREE offers. Plus, many Good Neighbor Hotels include extra perks such as:

  • Free breakfast

  • Free parking

  • Free transportation

  • Premium views

  • Close walking distance to the parks

3. Why Booking Early Matters for 2026

Disney never gets cheaper tomorrow than it is today! A $200 deposit secures your vacation package, and I always monitor for new promotions. If a better offer comes out that applies to your trip, I’ll automatically update your reservation.

Keep in mind, Good Neighbor Hotels are expected to book up quickly in 2026, so early reservations give you the best availability and value.
