Alaska Companion Fare Now Works on Hawaiian Airlines Flights!

We just got a big win for Hawaii travelers who use the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® Card (or Business card). Starting July 11, 2025, you can now use your Alaska Airlines $99 Companion Fare on flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines within North America. 🤯 This is a game-changer for families, couples, and anyone flying to or from Hawaii.

Every year you keep your Alaska card, you get a code to book one roundtrip coach ticket and bring a second person along for just $99 plus taxes & fees (usually $22ish).
It’s a great travel perks out there, especially when flying to Hawaii, and now it just got way more flexible.

According to Alaska Airlines' official release:
✅ You can now use your Companion Fare for flights operated by Hawaiian Airlines
✅ As long as the flight is marketed by Alaska Airlines, you can book it
✅ The route must be within North America (so yes — Hawaii counts!)
✅ Flights must be in Main Cabin (not First Class)

We already loved the companion fare for Seattle, Portland, or San Diego, but now we can also use it on Hawaiian’s own aircraft, which might offer better availability or direct flights.
