Fast-Track Atmos Status: HNL–San Diego Promo

Atmos Rewards just made it way easier for Hawaii travelers to earn elite status. If you fly between Honolulu (HNL) and San Diego (SAN), you can qualify for Silver or Gold in a fraction of the flights it normally takes.

Normally, hitting Atmos Silver would take around 11 roundtrips between Honolulu and San Diego, and Gold would mean flying the route 22 times in a year. But with this San Diego promotion, the requirements are dramatically lower — just five one-way segments (about 2½ roundtrips) to lock in Silver, and only ten one-way segments (five roundtrips) to reach Gold.

How the San Diego Fast Track Works

  • Register: Sign up anytime between now and March 20, 2026 to be eligible.

  • Fly the Route: Only flights to or from San Diego count toward this promo. Both Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines segments qualify.

  • Silver Shortcut: Complete 5 one-way segments between October 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026 to earn Atmos Silver. That’s just about 2½ roundtrips.

  • Gold Shortcut: Complete 10 one-way segments during the same period to earn Atmos Gold — only about 5 roundtrips.

For anyone who regularly visits San Diego, whether for family, work, or connections to the mainland, this is by far the easiest path we’ve seen to Atmos elite status.
