Award space is not spread evenly across the travel window, either. From the searches I ran on launch morning, here is roughly when each destination's floor price tends to show up:
- Mexico City: widely open, with the deal price on plenty of dates in early September and again in mid-October.
- Paris: widely open, especially across mid-September.
- Taipei: bookable on most days from September through November.
- Helsinki: clusters in October, roughly the week of October 4 to 11.
- Bangkok: best in October, again around October 4 to 11.
- Tahiti: limited to the days the nonstop operates, so build around the schedule.

The one true nonstop from Hawaiʻi
If you want an escape with no mainland backtracking, Tahiti is the standout. Papeete is the only destination on this list you can reach nonstop from the islands, on Hawaiian's Honolulu to Papeete service, a flight of roughly six hours. It runs on limited days each week, so build your trip around the schedule. Every other destination connects through a mainland gateway: Mexico City, Paris, Helsinki, and Taipei route through the West Coast, and Bangkok is the long haul with two stops. Where you start your search matters too. I checked all six cities from each of the five main Hawaiʻi airports on launch morning. Honolulu, Kahului on Maui, Kona, and Līhuʻe all reached the same floor prices. The difference is how many dates the deal shows up, and Hilo, with very few qualifying connections, could only pull up Tahiti.

In plain terms: if you are on Oʻahu or Maui, you have the widest pick of dates. From Kona or Līhuʻe the shorter hops to Mexico City and Paris are just as easy, but the long hauls to Taipei, Helsinki, and Bangkok showed the deal price on noticeably fewer days, so jump when you see one. From Hilo, your one Members Day move is Tahiti, routed through Honolulu onto that nonstop, or position to Oʻahu first and search from there.
